Before IM: I went to Limavady High School where I did Double Award Health & Social and ICT for my A-Levels.
After IM: I’m still here at Ulster…currently working as a Global Marketing Assistant!

Favourite modules and coursework
There were lots of interesting modules during my time at IM – it’s hard to pick out one module as each module was completely different. IM is a multidisciplinary degree that provided me with the important foundation skills and knowledge of web design, graphic design, and videography. My favourite piece of coursework was probably for the Interactivity for Social Enterprise module which gave us the opportunity to work with a community partner as a live client. We were provided with a brief and had to work as a group and pitch our ideas. We then got the opportunity to deliver the project brief by creating a new brand identity, design a website and create new promotional footage for them. It was fun and interesting experience dealing with a live client and working as a group.
Placement experience
I did my placement year with the Community Engagement team at Ulster University where I produced promotional materials such as videos, flyers and maintained their website ensuring all details were up to date. I was responsible for sourcing and designing promotional products to be distributed at events involving the team. The placement year gave me a real insight to what the ‘real world’ was like!
